Visitor Information Centre Volunteers Needed

Community volunteers are the backbone of many organisations and Muswellbrook’s Visitor Information Centre is no exception.

For the last three years, Muswellbrook Visitor Information Centre has been operated by a group of dedicated volunteers who willingly described the advantages of the Shire to both visitors and new residents alike.

The existing volunteers have dwindled to a small, but dedicated group, and it’s time to bolster their numbers.  If you are good with people and have knowledge of Muswellbrook Shire then the centre needs you.  A roster works around individual volunteer availability.

Everyday is quite different at the Visitor Information Centre and it’s a great way to meet new people and provide help to passing visitors.

Training will be provided over a cup of tea to new volunteers who need to brush up on local knowledge and centre processes.

Further details about volunteering at Muswellbrook Visitor Iinformation Centre can be obtained by contacting Muswellbrook Shire Council’s Economic Development Manager, Carolyn O’Brien, on 6549 3796.
